Israel Weeps For Tammuz

 

As this world races blindly toward a violent collision with the Lord Jesus Christ, everyone's attention is centering on  Israel and Jerusalem, as predicted in the Old Testament.  The intense hatred and carnage that is exploding there is forcing all the nations to demand solutions to the Arab-Israel conflict.  Many students of Israel's prophets understand that a false Messiah is coming to Jerusalem to bring peace to the Holy Land.  But, does he have to be Jewish, as many teach?

 

Today, as I was driving down the highway, thinking about this article and the hatred and violence in Israel, I said to the Lord, "It hurts deep in my heart to see the death and destruction."  I started to weep as I realized how much God loves all people and the enormous price he paid to give us the only way of escape from the eternal horror of Hell, and to free us from the pride, hatred and lusts that send us there. What is shocking is how many people, after hearing this truth, still refuse to repent and will follow the false Messiah when he arrives.  Never forget that the bloody cross of Jesus Christ truly reveals the nature of God and the nature of man......it shows us that God loves all men, and all unregenerate men hate God.  All of us nailed him to that cross, for there is none righteous, no not one, said the apostle Paul.  The day we confess that truth and receive Jesus as the risen Lord, is when we become the righteousness of God.

 

Over 2500 years ago, the prophet Ezekiel was shown by his God the abominations and sins that brought God's wrath and judgment to Israel in Ezekiel's day......"Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house, which was toward the north; and, behold there sat women weeping for Tammuz." Ezekiel 8:14.  Tammuz was the ancient pagan Savior of the old world after the flood of Noah's day.  God had forbidden Israel to mix these pagan gentile doctrines and religious customs with his commandments.  Israel refused. 

 

The Old Testament reference to Tammuz, with the people of Israel worshipping him, will be relived and repeated in the last days, which will again bring down the wrath of God. You see, Satan was polluting the true identity and mission of the Messiah in Ezekiel's day, and he continues his deceptive plot today.  When Satan's final Messiah makes his debut, by settling the Arab-Israel conflict, prophesied in Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 6:2, the whole Earth will erupt in celebration.  However, the final battle for the hearts of the Jewish people will begin.  False prophets in Israel and some in the Great Harlot of Christendom, will begin suggesting the American President, who has secured peace and the hope for prosperity to the Holy Land and the world, may be the Messiah.  This lie will spread and many in Israel will become believers.

 

How can this happen?  One reason of many, is that Satan knows that everyone, Jew and Gentile, is born.....a lover of money and prosperity.  His Messiah will satisfy all the covetous, idolatrous desires for wealth in the hearts of men with the promise of  political freedom.  Remember, Jesus said that man cannot serve two masters, God and money.  He will love the one and hate the other.  And no man is born into this world loving the true God of Israel and his son, Jesus Christ.  We are born with a sin nature that proudly loves self, money and the pleasures of this world system, and we will go to war and kill to keep these things, even rebel against British kings whose government and tax policies we oppose.  We are born the children of wrath, Ephesians 2:3.  This is why Jesus said that we must be born again to see and understand the coming Kingdom of God.  Until that happens we are hopelessly bound to follow the carnal desires of our old sinful natures, and could care less if Jesus is alive and coming again.

 

Israel has fallen into the seductive lure of America's political system, which promises, "the pursuit of happiness."  And like America, Israel doesn't understand this to mean the happiness and joy that comes from knowing that Jesus has written your name in Heaven by his shed blood.  It is a carnal happiness that temporarily comes with the possession of money and things. 

 

Christendom has been soaked and saturated with the perverted psychology, patriot, and prosperity gospel for some time now. Sadly, most of them would not recognize a covetous thought if it hit them in the head.  Their conscience has been seared by believing in lies for a long time and not walking in the Holy Spirit.  They see truth as a lie and a lie as the truth. It is a horrible and confusing position to be in. We have all been there at one time or another.  However, there is hope for those who are bound by these lies, for Jesus has not stopped loving people.  As I wrote in my last article, I shamefully admit that I had become lukewarm and left my first love for Jesus.  I now have nothing but love and compassion for my brothers who are grieving the Holy Spirit as I did.  Perhaps others have never truly been born again and just need to stop pretending and give their lives to the Lord.

 

As the world is being mesmerized by the last American President and the Pope of Rome, who has helped him secure peace for Jerusalem,  Israel's true prophets will begin exposing the great lie and plan of Satan.  The plotting Russian and Arab leaders will take peace from the Earth by invading a sleepy seduced Israel and then.....the President will suffer a mortal head wound, Revelation 13:3-4.  This apparent  assassination by his enemies will bring greater horror and terror to a world now at war again.  Many in Israel will "weep for Tammuz" in their rebuilt temple, just as they did in Ezekiel's day.

 

We must understand that Satan has planned this assassination to bring about his ultimate masterpiece of deception......his Messiah will rise from the dead.  He will proclaim that he indeed is the world's Messiah and God.  At some point close to the assassination the true God of Israel will supernaturally, with fire from Heaven, destroy the Russian-Arab armies that have overwhelmed Israel.  For if God did not intervene and stop the war, all of mankind would perish in a nuclear inferno, Matthew 24:22.  This risen Messiah and the false prophet from Rome will no doubt take credit for the supernatural destruction of the Russian-Arab armies.  The delirious deceived masses will cry out, "who is able to make war with this man....he is risen....he has saved us again.....this must be the Kingdom of God." 

 

This renewed excitement and happiness will be replaced by fear and sorrow when the nations begin suffering the last 1260 days of God's wrath and judgment.   The two prophets of Israel and 144,000 Jewish men will immediately expose this damnable charade, and declare to all the nations that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Messiah and will return to destroy Satan's counterfeit.  Multitudes of Jews and Gentiles will begin to awaken and seek the forgiveness of the God of Israel and his son, Jesus Christ.  Remember, the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.  If you have read this and have not been born again and made Jesus the Lord of your life, today is the day of your salvation.
